This chapter gives an account of the musical outcomes of this project. Different aspects of the music making process are described – from the features of speech that have been explored musically, how they have been translated into musical structures and sound, to how these structures have been organised as music. This includes approaches to improvisation, composition, repertoire development, orchestration, sound and performance. In short – all the artistic methods used in this project for creating and performing improvised music based on speech.
